Advising Team Weekly Update

Decisions:

  • Undergraduate advisors will not have ready access to the CNP report and the Advising Team will not be responsible for including it in UAT.

Meeting Outcomes:

  • Meeting with the undergraduate advising directors 8/2, where the need for improved communication about eforms was surfaced.  SIS Project members met on 8/4 to discuss further.  Another follow up meeting will take place on 8/12.

 

Student Financials Team Weekly Update

Meeting Outcomes:

  • Main focus this week has been in the below areas:
    • Addressing production issues (service now tickets, bugs, t-calc updates, TPC support) now that tuition and fees for all students enrolled in units have been assessed in BCSPRD.
    • Loaded housing file of fall 2016 transactions; still working on loading meal plan data and any reversals.
    • Generated monthly statement on 8/3/16.
    • Refunds are the next milestone upcoming next week; plan to run a mini file of cash refunds. Once aid disburses on 8/15 a larger refund run will occur.

Financial Aid Team Weekly Update

Meeting Outcomes:

  • Main focus this week has been in the below areas:
    • Addressing production issues (service now tickets, bugs, t-calc updates, TPC support) now that tuition and fees for all students enrolled in units have been assessed in BCSPRD.
    • UAT for GL6 activities. Received partner sign-off on GL6 refunding (voucher interface to BFS AP), Non-resident alien tax withholding (1042S data), My Finances bug fix for SIR deposit display and Disbursement (award posting). Deferred to GL6.0b is refund reversals (credit from BFS) and credit card refund file to Higher One. Deferred to GL6.0d is Event Notification for EFT (to trigger Active status) and there is a need to review application of awards based on restrictions.
    • Loading housing file of fall 2016 transactions; SF, SAIT, SF partner and RSSP have spent many hours to get the data tested/validated and loaded into PRD. See SISRP-23294.

  • The notes and appointments modifications will not be moved to PRD in GL6; they will be moved in GL6d.
  • UAT for notes and appointments will take place August 3.
  • In-person training for notes and appointments will take place August 10th & 11th.
  • CPP change eform moved from GL6 to GL6d (in partnership with the cross-campus team).
